Finchly LLC ("Finchly," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data when you use finchly.me and our SMS reminder service.

• Inbound SMS commands (STOP, HELP, PAUSE, etc.)
• App activity logs

Payment information

Payment details are processed and stored by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number. We retain your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.

• To deliver SMS reminders to your phone number
• To process payments and manage your subscription
• To verify your phone number and prevent abuse
• To provide customer support
• To send service notifications (account frozen, billing updates)
• To improve the Service and fix bugs

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your reminder content for advertising purposes.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

3a. SMS Messaging Program

Finchly operates an SMS reminder and notification program. By opting in at signup, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Finchly LLC at the phone number you provide, including:

• Scheduled reminders you create
• Habit check-in messages
• Daily motivational and coaching messages (if enabled)
• Account notifications (credit alerts, billing updates)

Message frequency varies based on your reminder schedule — up to 50 messages per day depending on your plan and settings.

Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to cancel all messages. Reply HELP for help or visit finchly.me. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

SMS opt-in information and consent will not be shared with any third parties for any purpose.

4. AI & Data Processing

Finchly uses Claude (by Anthropic) to parse reminder requests and generate motivational content. When you create a reminder, your input is sent to the Anthropic API to extract scheduling details.

• We request Zero Data Retention (ZDR) from Anthropic where available, meaning your data is not used to train AI models.
• Anthropic's data handling is governed by their Privacy Policy.
• We do not send sensitive personal information (health details, financial data) to AI APIs.

• Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription and up to 90 days after cancellation.
• SMS logs are retained for 12 months for billing and support purposes.
• Inbound message content may be retained for up to 30 days.
• You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8).

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords, and row-level security on our database. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel only. However, no system is perfectly secure — use the Service accordingly.

• Correction — update inaccurate information via your dashboard
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data
• Opt-out of SMS — reply STOP to any message at any time

Finchly is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.
